Virgin Islands Network of Environmental Educators

The Virgin Islands Network of Environmental Educators (VINE) was formed in August 2004, with the mission of supporting sustainable use of natural and cultural resources in the U.S. Virgin Islands through environmental education. VINE has partnered with 28 agencies throughout the U.S. Virgin Islands to provide support and resources for comprehensive and coordinated environmental education programs; to compliment existing environmental programs; and to promote the development of a more comprehensive environmental education curriculum. Contact us to find a VINE member to present to your group or for a directory of VINE programs. Click here for additional information on VINE.

Christiansted Boardwalk Outreach Information Center

An outreach information center is being developed on the Christiansted boardwalk. The Club Comanche sugar mill is being renovated for use as marine park outreach and education site. This area is ideally situated for disseminating educational and outreach products to visitors and residents. Look for site renovation to begin in 2006.
